Name the Little Sew & Sews Superhero Range Competition!

Just in case you have been imprisoned by a dastardly villain for the last few weeks and have missed the news, I have designed my very own unique Superhero softie that will only be available from Little Sew & Sews!  I love working with my own designs, there is more a sense of originality in a world of ever increasing 'mimicry' - as well as I can adjust, embellish, adorn, style, decorate, choose colours etc, all as I desire, to make every single softie I create UNIQUE.

April 15 is zooming towards us at the speed of light, so it is now time to reveal the details of the naming competition for the new Superhero range!  Here are a few guidelines, hints so you know what type of thinking hat to put on!

* Little Sew & Sews is about FUN (and I love a good pun/play on words)
* Avoid at all costs licensed terms from other brands
* I am seeking a name for the RANGE not individual heroes - the ideal name will be unisex
* These are Superheroes, not villains (they will be here soon too though ;) )

How will it work? The nitty gritty rules! By commenting with a suggestion, you indicate you have read this bit!

* You can suggest as many different names for the range as you can think of, but please use a separate comment for each suggestion just to make it easier to review.
* Please use your full name when commenting, sorry anonymous comments will not count
* Suggestions made that are the same or very very similar will count towards the first person who commented
* All suggestions must be made by 6pm (Perth time) on April 8th, 2012.
* Little Sew & Sews admin (myself and two friends) will then each select 2 unique suggestions that we think are suitable to go to a voting process.
* The final 6 suggestions will be uploaded into a Facebook Poll on the Little Sew & Sews page with voting to then finish on Friday the 13th of April at 6pm (Perth time)
* The winner will be the suggestion with the most unique votes.  In the event of a tie, I will cast my vote to decide the winner.  The announced winner will be final and no amount of bribery, pleading or extortion attempts will be considered (sorry).

Now for the fun part, WHAT DO YOU WIN?

Other than the glory of seeing your suggestion attached to the Superheroes? How does a $50 Little Sew & Sews voucher sound to you?  Awesome I hope!

Now that you have got your thinking caps on - suggest away!

Little Sew & Sews Sewing Patterns/Tutorials Coming Soon!

A Little Bit of Excitement!

Little Sew & Sews first started over 2 years ago making Sewbots & 3 Piece Softie Tool-sets, and while the Sewbots have been in for a rather extended upgrade (sew many other things to do!), the 3 piece softie tool-sets remained as a firm favourite!  Do not despair!!, they will not be disappearing from the Little Sew & Sews product range any time soon, and while it also continues to evolve as a product, I thought it was time to share my love for the 3 piece softie tool-set with the rest of the sewing world!  So with some tweaking of my own product design I have made the pattern shapes perfectly sized and sewable for even the most beginner sewer and a PDF pattern with photo tutorial will be available very soon!  (and YES, you will be able to sell tool-sets made from my patterns on  your market stalls !!!!)

Give Away Time!

If you would like to be the very first crafter to get your hands on the 3 Piece Softie Tool-set pattern/tutorial PDF for free, before it is released for sale just leave a comment (with your name please!) on this blog post by midnight on the 20th of March, 2012.  A random winner will be drawn from the comments and announced on the blog on the 21st of March, 2012.
